JOB TITLE: Customer Service

DEPARTMENT: Blue Sky Miami Corporate

REPORTS TO: Managing Director


SUMMARY:

Handles customer question, complaints, and billing inquiries with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism. Offers alternative solutions where appropriate with the objective of retaining customers’ business. Communicates with customers using web-based tools and demonstrates the associated proficiency in typing and grammar. Makes financial decisions to protect/collect revenues and adjusts customer accounts. Has broad working knowledge of Florida Statute practices. Performs other related duties as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma and three to five year's related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.



LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively and accurately present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.



MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and accounting principals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions.


REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to solve practical and complex problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.


COMPUTER SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software, Word Processing software, Accounting Function and Operational Software.

Scheduling: The employee is subject to schedule changes and/or overtime as required by the job and his/her supervisor. This may include working weekends, working after the course of normal business hours and at other times as required by the job.
